Hello, I’m David

I write about the quiet work of becoming yourself.

For most of my life, I was looking for something. I grew up around spiritual practice and big questions, and I spent years chasing answers in teachings, books, and conversations with anyone who seemed to know a little more than I did. What I found along the way was meaningful, but it wasn’t the thing.

The real turning came later, in the stillness of my own reflection. It was simple, almost embarrassing in its simplicity: everything I had been searching for had been with me the whole time. The divine I was looking for wasn’t somewhere out there. It was here, inside, waiting to be noticed.

That shift changed how I see everything. Life stopped feeling like something happening to me and started feeling like something I was shaping, day by day, by what I chose to believe and how I chose to show up. With that came peace. And with peace came the urge to share what I had learned.

That’s how The Divine Journey Trilogy was born. Three books: The Journey of Self Discovery, A Journey Towards Enlightenment, and The Dream of Life. Each one is a hand extended to anyone walking the same road. They invite the reader to question old beliefs, make room for compassion, and finally meet the one person we all spend our lives avoiding: ourselves.

Alongside the books, I give talks like “The Real You,” where I ask audiences to set down the masks we all carry and rediscover what’s underneath. Whether in print or in person, my message is the same: you are not broken, you are not behind, and the doorway home is closer than you think.
