What is the Divine Karma series about?

The Divine Karma series is a three-book trilogy on self-discovery, awakening, and the dreamlike nature of reality. It is written for readers interested in spiritual growth, consciousness, karma, and the quiet question of who we are underneath what we have been told. The books treat religion, science, and philosophy as three lenses on the same truth.

What order should I read the books in?

If you are new to this work, the gentlest starting point is Behind the Curtain — a shorter gateway book that opens the core ideas. The trilogy then follows in order: Book I, The Journey of Self Discovery, then Book II, A Journey Towards Enlightenment, then Book III, The Dream of Life. Each book stands on its own, but read in order they form a single arc from self-inquiry to awakening to homecoming. A fuller guide is on the Where to Start page.

Where can I buy the books?

All three books are available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats. Direct links to each one are on the Books page. They may also be ordered through your local independent bookstore.

Is there an audiobook?

Not yet. Audiobook editions are on the roadmap. The best place to be notified when they release is the newsletter, signup linked from the home page.

Can I read a sample chapter before buying?

Yes. The Books page includes a free first chapter PDF for each of the three books — introduction plus the full first chapter. No email required.

Are the books suitable for book clubs?

Yes. The Book Clubs page includes six discussion questions for each book and an 8-week suggested reading plan. Groups are warmly invited to write in to request a virtual visit or short audio note from David for their meeting.

Who is David Ramirez?

David Ramirez is the author of the Divine Karma trilogy. He writes about self-discovery, awakening, and consciousness in a conversational, non guru voice. More about him is on the About page.

Does the series belong to a specific religious tradition?

No. The trilogy treats religion, science, and philosophy as three lenses on the same truth. It draws on multiple traditions without belonging to any one. Readers from religious, secular, and contemplative backgrounds have all found it accessible.

How long does it take to read each book?

The books are intentionally short and meant to be read slowly. A first read of each one typically takes three to four hours of reading spread over a few weeks. Most readers return to them more than once.

What if I am new to this kind of book?

You are in good company. This work was written with you in mind as much as with seasoned readers. If you want the gentlest place to start, pick up Behind the Curtain — the short gateway book — or simply begin with Book I of the trilogy. Read slowly. Underline what speaks to you. There is no test.

What if the book brings up difficult feelings?

It might. The books are not heavy, but the questions they open can be. If anything you are reading sits uncomfortably, set the book down and come back later. The work is not the page. The work is whatever you do in the days between readings.

How can I contact the author?

Reader notes, book club requests, podcast invitations, and other inquiries are welcome through the Contact page. Where his schedule allows, David responds personally.
