Privacy Policy

A clear, short explanation of how this site handles your information.

Last updated: April 2026

What this site collects

Divine Karma is a quiet corner of the internet. The site itself does not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or advertising scripts. If you simply read the pages, nothing personal about you is stored or sent anywhere.

The only time information reaches me is when you choose to send it, through the contact form or by writing to me directly at the address on the contact page. In that case, I receive what you type: your name, your email address, the subject you selected, and your message.

How that information is used

Anything you send through the contact form is used to reply to you and, if appropriate, continue the conversation. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties. I do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.

Where it is stored

Messages sent through the form travel through the form provider listed on the contact page (for example, Formspree or Netlify Forms). Those services act as secure intermediaries that pass the message to my inbox. Their own privacy practices apply to the moment your message passes through them; you can read each one on their website.

Cookies

No tracking cookies are set by this site. A small number of essential cookies may be set by the hosting provider for purely technical reasons (such as load balancing). None of them identify you personally.

Third party links

The site links out to Amazon for book purchases and to social media platforms. Once you click away, the privacy policy of that destination applies. I have no access to the information those platforms collect about you.

Affiliate disclosure

The Amazon links on this site are direct purchase links. David is not currently enrolled in the Amazon Associates program and does not earn affiliate commission from your purchase. The links are provided as a convenience. If this changes in the future, this section will be updated and a visible disclosure added next to the buy buttons themselves.

Children

This site is written for adult readers. It is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

If you have written to me and would like your message and email removed from my inbox, simply reply with that request and I will honor it. If you would like to know what I have on file for you, ask and I will tell you.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the revised date at the top of this page will be updated. Significant changes will be noted on the home page for a reasonable period.

Contact

Questions about this policy can go to the same address as anything else: the contact page.
