These Terms govern your use of Inkling. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Inkling ("the App"), a perception-training application published by Divine Karma ("the Publisher," "we," "us," "our").
1.The nature of the App
Inkling is a daily training platform for intuition, perception, focus, and human connection. The App offers:
Perception trials across multiple modalities (symbol, color, number, image, emotion)
Mindfulness preparation routines (breath work, soft gaze, silent sit)
Real-time partner sessions for shared practice
Progress tracking with chance baselines
A community of users participating in optional weekly challenges
Inkling is for self-development, focus, and mindful exploration. We do not claim that extrasensory perception (ESP) is established science. Above-chance results may reflect statistical noise, pattern recognition, prior partner familiarity, or genuine signal — the science remains contested. You acknowledge this when you accept the in-app Onboarding Pact.
2.What you must NOT use the App for
You agree not to use the App to make:
Medical decisions (diagnoses, treatment choices, medication changes, decisions to seek or not seek emergency care)
Legal decisions (whether to sue, sign, accept settlements, hire counsel)
Safety decisions (whether to leave a relationship, fly, drive, or take any action where your physical safety or someone else's is in question)
Predictions about identifiable individuals that would harm them, embarrass them, or violate their privacy
The App's built-in Decision Lockout filter shows soft warnings when journal entries appear to involve high-stakes decisions. The filter is for your benefit and is not exhaustive. The responsibility for your decisions rests with you.
3.Account, age, and conduct
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it updated.
You will not impersonate others, harass other users, or attempt to deanonymize community submissions.
You will not attempt to game the App's scoring (e.g., automating responses, scraping targets, or sharing trial data with partners outside the App's official partner-session flow).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4.Subscription, payment, and refunds
Inkling offers a Free tier and paid Premium tiers (Premium, Pairs, Lifetime).
Subscription billing is processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat. Refund requests for in-app purchases are governed by the relevant store's policy, not by us directly.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings (Apple ID or Google Account).
Free-trial offers, if any, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
We may change pricing for new subscriptions; existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any change to their plan price.
5.Your content
Your trial data, journal entries, and impressions belong to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display them within the App and the optional community feed (if you opt in).
Community submissions: when you check the "share to community" box at submit time, you grant us the right to display your impression text, the matched words, and your initials anonymously on the next week's reveal page. You can revoke future sharing at any time, but submissions previously displayed may remain.
Partner sessions: you and your partner generate trial rows together; both of you have access to the comparison data for sessions you both participated in.
You retain ownership of all your content. We do not claim copyright in your journal entries or impressions.
6.Our content and intellectual property
The App, its design, code, copy, brand marks, and visual identity are the property of Divine Karma and its licensors.
The Inkling and Divine Karma names and logos are trademarks of Divine Karma.
The "Wisdom Library" essays and meditation scripts in the App are licensed for in-App use and may not be redistributed.
The symbol set, color wheel, and other modality content are bespoke to Inkling and may not be reproduced without permission.
You may quote short passages of in-App copy with attribution ("Inkling, by Divine Karma").
7.Service availability and changes
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect paying subscribers.
We may perform maintenance that temporarily makes parts of the service unavailable.
8.Disclaimers
The App is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The App is suitable for medical, psychological, financial, legal, safety, or other decision-making purposes
You use the App at your own risk and discretion.
9.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Divine Karma's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or emotional distress.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law (e.g., gross negligence, intentional misconduct, certain consumer protections in some jurisdictions).
10.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Divine Karma against claims arising from:
Your violation of these Terms
Your use of the App in a way prohibited by Section 2
Content you submit that infringes the rights of others
11.Termination
You may terminate your account at any time via the in-App Settings ("Delete account").
We may terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms.
On termination, your data is purged within 30 days per the Privacy Policy.
12.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except for small claims and intellectual-property disputes.
You waive the right to participate in class actions to the extent permitted by law.
EU/UK consumers retain rights under their local law that cannot be waived.
13.Changes to these Terms
We will notify you of material changes via in-App notification and email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
